美元走强，黄金涨势受到牵制，低油价引发更多困境

4月23日，虽然国际金价刷新近日高位，但美元指数的走强限制了黄金的涨幅，但美国就业的寒冬情况仍在持续，同时德国发过的PMI数据不乐观，欧元大跌支撑美元。虽然原油价格从大跌中有所反弹，但无法缓解市场的进场情绪，避险需求也在不断增加。
投资者一直担心石油需求下降，因为主要经济体为了控制病毒传播而实施居家令，并对企业和出行实行严格的限制，实际上已经进入停滞状态。在这样的背景下，油市的涨势显得虚弱。
美国官员近几日表示，美国在考虑阻止沙特原油输入，或者对这些船货征关税，加剧了现在已在海上的这些船货的困境。如果美国实施禁令，沙特有可能会将船货转运至其他市场，这会给欧亚市场的存储空间造成巨大压力。
美国总统特朗普周三签署行政命令，在新冠病毒疫情期间暂停移民入境。他在每日疫情简报记者会说：“这将确保在我们经济重启之际，所有背景的失业美国人将排在求职队列的首位。”
欧元兑美元创3月24日以来新低至1.0756，因日内公布的法国4月制造业PMI刷新纪录低位，综合PMI降至1998年以来最低水平；德国4月制造业PMI跌至逾11年低位，综合PMI录得纪录低位。
欧盟一位官员周三表示，由于仍存在重大分歧，欧盟国家可能要到夏季或更晚，才能就经济复苏救助的融资方式达成一致。
法国和西班牙提出涉及联合发债的提议，但德国、荷兰和几个其他国家坚决反对。欧盟执委会提出了一项折衷方案，即由欧盟执委会以欧盟联合预算作为担保发债筹资。
油价下挫会压低运输及制造成本，民众荷包也有了更多非必需消费的余裕空间。但低油价也可能造成破坏，使得欧元区政府和央行抗击通缩的努力变得复杂化，即便欧元区疫情得到控制，这可能会使经济复苏复杂化，欧元持续面临卖压，将利好美元。
