3月15日，現貨黃金收復大阪跌幅，周線有希望出現連陽，美元指數下滑，創下去年以來的最大跌幅。美聯儲即將召開新的政策會議，近期公佈的數據不佳，屆時決策者將對未來經濟前景有更加謹慎的看法。
英國議會在投票表決中以壓倒性優勢支持推遲脫歐。英國議會還提出了一下選項：議會若能在3月20日前就脫歐協議達成一致，則向歐盟要求短期延遲脫歐；若無法及時達成一致，則較長期延遲脫歐。
分析師表示：“市場之前就認為英國將推遲脫歐。事態進展與此相符，但尾部風險尚未完全消失，可能在下周的歐盟峰會達到高潮。”
在英國首相特雷莎·梅週三和週四會晤歐盟領導人之前，已經兩次遭到拒絕的脫歐協議可能在下周重新交由議會表決。Suzuki指出,任何推遲脫歐的決定都需歐盟27個成員國的一致同意。
分析師說：“在脫歐消息的連番轟炸下，匯市即將結束令人精疲力竭的一周，投資者在等待美聯儲的更多指引。”
美國上周初請失業金人數升幅超過預期，1月新屋銷售跌幅大於預期，突顯出美國經濟的壓力在增大，令美元繼續受到抑制。
週五公佈的一項民調顯示，只有20%的美國納稅人預計,將因共和黨2017年通過的稅改法而少繳個人所得稅。共和黨原本承諾稅改將大幅削減普通美國人的所得稅。
稅改下調了聯邦個人所得稅和企業所得稅，但同時限制一些稅款減免，例如州和地方稅減免，這或許意味著一些人將繳納更多所得稅。
美國2月CPI年率不及預期，招聘活動也因經濟增長放緩受到抑制，反映出1.5萬億美元減稅計畫帶來的刺激效應消退。特朗普難以在2020年的大選中一次作為一個強有力的競選議題，也拖累了美元進一步走強。
