美国经济数据超出预期，金价急跌

2月28日，美国第四季度实际GDP数据受到市场强烈关注，指标均高于预期，美元指数短线反弹上涨，而现货黄金价格短线寄宿下跌刷新日内新低。同时市场对中美贸易谈判的乐观预期，进一步吸引了市场的关注。
具体数据显示，美国第四季度实际GDP年化季率初值为2.6%，好于市场预期的2.2%，但较前值的3.4%有所不及；美国第四季度GDP平减指数初值为1.8%，同前值相符，好于预期的1.7%。
由于消费者和企业支出强劲，美国经济第四季度GDP增速好于预期，2018年的增长略低于特朗普政府设定的3%的年度目标。2018年经济增长2.9%，是自2015年以来的最佳表现。此外，有迹象显示，美国经济在第一季度初进一步放缓，多数制造业指标在1月和2月走弱。
此外，美国第四季度核心PCE物价指数年化季率初值为1.7%，好于预期及前值的1.6%。不过美国截至2月23日当周初请失业金人数录得增加，为22.5万人，高于预期的22万人，续刷10个月以来高点，表明劳动力市场存在相对放缓的情况。、
尽管美联储近期的鸽派基调给美元产生了明显的拖累，市场对美联储年内加息预期也显著降温，但鲍威尔维持缩表的路径其实也是货币紧缩的信号，这给美元提供支撑，对金价不利。
如果无法提高美国政府债务上限，3月2日起美国财政部需要把现金余额从目前的3120亿美元缩减至2000亿美元，以符合政府债务上限，因为法律禁止财政部通过建立巨额现金缓冲以避免达到上限。
