ADP數據難以錦上添花，坐等美聯儲決議
美國自動數據處理公司5月2日公佈數據顯示，美國4月ADP就業人數增加20.4萬，好於預期但不及前值；但鑒於目前市場更關心美國的薪資增速，以及稍晚將公佈的美聯儲利率決議，故ADP數據雖靚麗，但美元指數微升至92.37後回落，黃金下挫1美元至1307.96美元後反彈。
ADP報告顯示：美國勞動力市場保持穩健的增長步伐；4月建築業就業人數新增2.7萬人，3月增加3.1萬人；4月製造業就業人數新增1萬人，3月增加2.9萬人。
報告還顯示，4月貿易/運輸/公用事業就業人數新增1.4萬人，3月增加4萬人；4月金融服務業就業人數新增0.7萬人，3月增加1.8萬人；4月專業/商業服務就業人數新增5.8萬人，3月增加4.4萬人。
報告認為，隨隨著勞動力市場收緊，雇主將更難找到熟練技工。此外，在目前的步伐下，美國失業率將很快進入3%-3.9%區間。而失業率進入3%-3.9%區間將是具有風險性的，因經濟面臨過熱的威脅。
分析師則表示，勞動力市場繼續保持穩健的增長速度，幾乎沒有放緩的跡象。各領域中，專業/商業服務領域就業增加人數領先，同樣依賴熟練勞動力的建築業第6個月保持穩定增長。
美國ADP就業數據素來有“小非農”之稱，此次數據表現強勁，暗示週五非農就業增長可能也表現靚麗；不過，由於最近一年來，美國就業市場持續表現強勁，接近充分就業，美聯儲的關注焦點轉向薪資增速，因薪資增速與通脹直接相關，而低迷的通脹是美聯儲加速升息的最大障礙；目前市場聚焦美聯儲管委會在此次利率決議上將更新的對通脹的看法，故此次強勁的ADP數據對美元的提振比較有限，也僅短暫打壓黃金。
儘管在天氣因素的拖累下，美國3月非農就業人口增幅僅增加10.3萬，但一季度就業人口增幅相對強勁，非農就業人口月度增幅達到了20.2萬。分析認為4月非農就業人口增幅將扭轉3月的低迷之勢，因部分對天氣變化敏感行業的就業人口將擴大。此外薪資增長若顯示加速現象，可能暗示通脹壓力正在擴大，這將提升外界對美聯儲年內加息的預期。
