转鹰派奈何无动机，欧洲央行按兵不动
北京时间1月25日20：45，欧洲央行将公布最新利率决议。Pictet Wealth Management的高级经济学家杜洛泽称，他预计欧洲央行此次公布的政策不会出现任何重大变化，因为现在缺乏促使欧洲央行变得更为鹰派的动机。
分析师表示，欧洲央行行长德拉基(Mario Draghi)预计将面临一连串问题，比如欧洲央行可能多快改变货币政策，以及他何时回答这一问题。“欧洲央行想变得更为鹰派的话，就需要考虑一系列经济数据，但这最终将由行长德拉基决定。投资者们对此还不是很习惯。”
稳定的新增就业，上升的商业和消费信心已经导致很多经济学家上修了对几个欧洲经济体的经济预测。
欧洲央行2017年12月的会议纪要显示，随着欧元区创下10年来最高经济增速，欧洲央行应该会逐步改变政策立场，以避免更有破坏性的举措。
该会议纪要促使欧元兑美元汇率飙升，延续了欧元日历年开始时出现的涨势。自2018年初以来，欧元已上涨逾2%，因经济复苏增强了市场预期，认为欧洲央行可能被迫快于预期解除刺激政策。

意大利将在3月4日举行大选，但目前还不清楚该国是否能组建一个稳固的政府。此次大选投票令一些市场参与者感到担忧，因为这可能促使欧洲央行政策制定者推迟任何重大政策调整，直到延迟到2018年晚些时候。
长期以来，欧洲央行一直努力将核心通胀率提高到2%左右的目标水平，最早也要到2020年才能实现这一目标。
欧洲央行在2017年年底表示，2017年欧元区的整体通胀率为1.5%，2018年将降至1.2%。 在2017年12月的最后一次会议上，欧洲央行维持主要基准利率不变。
2017年10月，欧洲央行宣布将每月的资产购买量从600亿欧元(710亿美元)降至300亿欧元。欧洲央行当时还表示，其量化宽松计划将持续到2018年9月。根据欧元区的经济状况，欧洲央行为进一步扩展该计划敞开了大门。
