特朗普痛批美财长，美元上涨

特朗普在接受达沃斯世界经济论坛的专访时说：“美元会越来越强，最终我希望看到强势的美元。我们的国家在经济上再次强大起来了，在其他方面也是如此。”
不过特朗普最近关于美元的评论与他过去的评论不太一致。去年4月，特朗普还曾表示他担心美元“变得过于强大”。
在1月24日的达沃斯世界经济论坛上，美国财长努钦表示支持美元走弱，称这样会有益于美国经济。在1月25日，努钦是这样表态的：前财长部长们最近曾经发表置评支持美元走强，但是我的观点与他们有些许不同。这并不代表我对美元的态度发生了转变。
特朗普说努钦的讲话被断章取义了，没有结合具体的语境来理解，并表示自己已经阅读了他“真切”的陈述。
努钦早些时候关于“美元弱势”的讲话引发了美指下滑2%，这是在追踪了美元兑其他六种货币的表现得出的结论。
