2013年英国黄金出口较去年增长10倍

《Investing.com》2月23日报导，根据英国税务局（HMRC）提交给欧盟统计局的数据显示，2013年英国黄金出口量高达1,739公吨，较2012年的160公吨呈现十倍以上增长；此相当于去年全球矿产黄金产量的60%，或约是去年全球黄金ETF（交易所交易基金）流出量的两倍。去年英国出口的黄金有77%流向瑞士，香港与阿拉伯联合酋长国则占16%。去年在报告当中率先指出「西金东流」趋势的麦格理证券（Macquarie Securities）贵金属分析师Matthew Turner表示，毫无疑问，黄金自英国经由瑞士流向亚洲的发展是2013年金市的重要趋势。瑞士黄金冶炼商通常将英国交割的400盎司（12.5公斤）金条重新铸成较小单位如1公斤金条，然后再销往中国大陆与印度。英国没有商业规模的金矿，但伦敦作为全球黄金市场的中心，据投资者和央行估计，包括英国央行在内的伦敦银行金库黄金储量高达10,000吨。英国黄金出口至瑞士，除了ETF的卖压被黄金精炼的需求吸收之外，一部分也或因为部分投资人出售黄金ETF之后转持现金，因这些账户很多在瑞士。
近期黄金ETF的投资卖盘似乎告一段落，彭博社报导，SPDR黄金信托基金（GLD.US）的黄金持有量上周增加0.5%，为连续第三周增加；二月份至今，该基金黄金持有量增加2.45公吨，为连续13个月下滑之后首度增加。不过，麦格理分析师Turner认为，黄金ETF的卖盘未来几个月可能会再度增加。彭博社报导，瑞士海关的数据显示，一月份80%的金银均出口至亚洲，主要出口地区包括香港（44%）、印度（14%）、新加坡（8.6%）、阿拉伯联合酋长国（7.9%）以及中国大陆（6.3%）。
