麦嘉华：美国经济倚仗QE QE永不终结

美国联储局(FED)将在美东时间18日中午12点30分宣布是否缩减量化宽松(QE)规模，但是「末日博士」麦嘉华(Marc Faber)悲观认为，QE永远不会终结，就算稍为减码，之后也会因为经济恶化再次扩大施行。
麦嘉华17日接受CNBC「Futures Now」节目专访强调，QE永远不会结束，这些措施一旦实施，通常就会继续下去。他说，所谓的经济复苏到明年6月届满5周年，景气将再次减弱，到时FED会说仍作得不够，必须加大力度；因此QE减码大致是一次性的无意义举动，会随经济恶化逆转。FED或许会作出部份调整，但是不出几年，购债规模最终将大幅高于当前水平。
末日博士同时炮轰FED官员，批评他们就像坐在炸药上，却朝炸药淋汽油，还点火柴抽雪茄、随手把火柴丢向汽油，完全没发现有危险；他说这就是联准会专家的心态，这票人从没在业界工作过。
美国仰赖宽松货币政策，拿掉QE拐杖就不会走路。华尔街日报部落格报导，旧金山联邦准备银行总裁John Williams 11月初曾对看多美国经济的乐观人士大泼冷水，质问：「收伞后，你确定美国经济会继续好转吗？」他对媒体表示，过去13个月左右包括失业率等数据的确出现许多好转迹象，但过去几个月的数据也让人质疑在没有货币政策支持的情况下美国经济能否持续好转。
