南非10月黄金产量同比激增74.4%

南非统计局(Statistics South Africa)周二(12月10日)公布的数据显示，南非10月黄金产量同比增长74.4%，推动今年黄金总产量上涨22%，但这次黄金产量月比上升只是因为去年的基数较低。另外，10月南非铂金金属产量同比也上涨超过16%。
如此靓丽的数据却并未改善该国不断走宽的经常帐赤字。眼下南非的经常帐赤字约为GDP的6.8%，上周南非兰特兑美元汇价跌至4年半来低位。
NKC Independent Economists经济学家Christie Viljoen称，“本次数据向好仅仅是因为去年南非矿业产量因非法罢工而受到重创，同时仅仅是一个月数据并不能对经常帐赤字有多大改善，我们还需等待此后两个月的数据才能做出判断。”
据本月较早公布的数据显示，尽管此前贸易数据得到上修，但三季度南非经常帐赤字还是扩大至5年来的最高水平。2012年南非矿业板块曾发生多起非法罢工事故，导致多人死亡，并一度导致南非最大经济体的信用评级被下调。
