铂金钯金上涨 因南非罢工行动开始

纽约商业交易所(NYMEX)2014年1月铂金期货则上涨0.3%成为每盎司1,456.20美元，12月钯金期货上涨1.5%成为每盎司749.50美元。南非全国矿工联盟(National Union of Mineworkers, NUM)11月3日对铂金生产商Northam Platinum Ltd.展开罢工行动，要求调涨薪资。Northam已提议要和员工在5日召开协商会议。
华尔街日报报导，ETF Securities发表研究报告指出，全球经济展望改善、汽车销售量增加以及南非供应状况吃紧将持续让铂金、钯金的价格受惠。这两种金属主要用来净化汽车排放的废气，今年以来的表现更优于黄金，主因投资人认为汽车需求上扬、南非供应吃紧将推升铂金、钯金的价格。
纽约商品期货交易所(COMEX)12月期铜11月4日收盘下跌1.4%成为每磅3.253美元，创10月23日以来最大单日跌幅，主因美国9月工厂订单增幅不如预期、让市场担忧铜的需求可能会趋缓。
