中国印度黄金消费量占全球6成

世界黄金协会（WGC）远东区执行董事郑良豪（Albert Cheng）10月1日在罗马参加伦敦金银市场协会（LBMA）年会时表示，目前中国大陆与印度已经占到全球黄金消费量的六成比重，并预估今年全年两国的黄金消费量都可望达到1,000公吨，而全球的黄金消费量则预期为4,000公吨。
郑良豪指出，由于印度政府为控制经常帐赤字而对黄金进口作出限制，今年大陆很可能超过印度成为全球最大的黄金消费国。他并称这样的发展对于大陆来说尤为难能可贵，因为大陆开放民众自由持有黄金只不过是最近10年的事。现在，大陆也是全球最大的黄金生产国。郑良豪指出，2012年大陆黄金消费量为840公吨，其中国内产量342公吨，进口量498公吨。
郑良豪认为，大陆的黄金消费增长将最少能够与经济成长率同步，而且伴随着人口的增长以及可支配所得的增加，黄金消费增长的步伐可能还会高过经济成长率。根据彭博社的调查，大陆2013-15年的经济成长率预估将分别为7.6%、7.4%、7.2%。
