CPI公布前通脹擔憂高企，冒險情緒上升成多頭絆腳石
周三（12月8日）亞洲時段，現貨黃金持穩于1785附近。周二（12月7日）金價小幅上漲，主要是受到通脹預期和地緣局勢擔憂的支撐，投資者將注意力聚焦將于本周公布的美國通脹數據，這可能會影響美聯儲加息的步伐。但較高的冒險情緒和美債收益率上漲令多頭不敢大舉押注。
前財長薩默斯：美國未來兩年衰退幾率達四成
原美國財政部長拉裏·薩默斯表示，通脹已變得根深蒂固，降低了美聯儲能夠在不導致經濟衰退的情況下遏制物價上漲的可能性。
薩默斯現在預計，未來24個月有30%至40%的可能性會出現經濟衰退。這位哈佛大學經濟學家還估計，所謂的軟著陸（即收緊貨幣政策不會嚴重遏制經濟增長）的可能性在20%到25%之間。
薩默斯周二在《華爾街日報》的首席執行官理事會峰會上表示：“有證據表明，在快速增長、通脹的經濟環境中，實現軟著陸是一件非常困難的事情。”
世衛組織：已有57個國家和地區出現奧密克戎毒株
當地時間7日，世衛組織發布新冠肺炎每周流行病學報告。報告指出，已有57個國家和地區出現奧密克戎毒株，大部分病例與旅行相關。在過去60天搜集的899935份病毒基因序列樣本中，99.8%的樣本為德爾塔毒株，奧密克戎毒株占比為0.1%，共計713份。
世衛組織表示，目前很多國家主要流行的毒株仍是德爾塔毒株，尤其是歐洲和美國，現在還無法確定奧密克戎毒株對全球疫情的影響。
