風險偏好上升，美元走高金價下跌
周一(12月6日)美元小幅走高，大宗商品貨幣跑贏其他G-10貨幣，因為投資者預計中國央行的降準將刺激大宗商品需求走強，避險貨幣日元和瑞郎領跌。黃金期貨價格小幅收跌，因美元和美債收益率攀升，但通脹上升和有關Omicron變種的不確定性限制了金價跌幅。油價漲逾5%，美油、布油分別刷新近一周高點至70.15美元/桶、73.80美元/桶，有消息稱omicron變異毒株可能不會導致嚴重的病例、以及沙特阿拉伯提高原油價格的行動，推高了原油期貨價格。
IMF稱歐洲央行應保持高度寬松的政策立場
國際貨幣基金組織(IMF)表示，只要當前的消費者價格飙升看起來只是暫時的，歐洲央行就應該堅持其超寬松的貨幣政策立場。IMF在其2021年《工作人員總結聲明》中表示，鑒于按照基線預期，潛在的通脹動態在中期內將保持疲軟，歐洲央行應該忽略暫時的通脹壓力，並維持高度寬松的貨幣政策立場；上述言論符合歐洲央行行長拉加德的觀點。拉加德堅持認為，物價飙升是因為能源成本和供應停滯等不會持久的因素。相比之下， 美聯儲主席鮑威爾上周表示，“暫時性”這個詞不應再用于描述現在的通脹動態。
美國釋放第一批戰略石油儲備的招標吸引了至少兩家外國公司競標
拜登政府降低能源價格的努力在周一向前邁進一步，首批釋放3200萬桶戰略石油儲備的招標工作已經截止。美國能源部上個月首次宣布釋放總共5000萬桶戰略石油儲備時表示，第一批次釋放的投標將于美國中部時間周一上午10點截止。雖然要到12月14日才會宣布中標結果，但據知情人士稱，至少有兩家國際煉油商表達了興趣。
