美元走低黃金跳漲，美油續刷七年新高
周三(10月20日)美元指數跌至接近一個月低點，許多美國公司的強勁財報減輕了人們對經濟增長放緩和通脹上升的擔憂；紐元和澳元漲幅居前，分別徘徊在四個月和三個月高點附近。黃金期貨價格連續第二個交易日收高，對通脹壓力上升的擔憂推動金價上漲，但美債收益率走強使金價漲幅受到限制。美油漲逾1%，續刷近七年高點至83.65美元/桶，美國能源信息署(EIA)報告顯示上周原油庫存減少40萬桶，使許多人對原油庫存將會增加的預期落空。
美聯儲褐皮書：對美國經濟前景持謹慎樂觀的態度
美國經濟活動的增速介于溫和到適度。軟件和IT行業溫和增長，零售行業保持穩定、或略微超過新冠肺炎疫情之前的水平。
新車和二手車需求克服有限的供應。航空出行和酒店入住率較2020年同期上升。獨棟住房銷售趨于疲軟，但在2020年爆發新冠疫情的情況下，那可能體現出正常的季節性模式。房價繼續上漲，商業地産市場形勢穩定，但辦公室租賃前景仍然不確定。在大面積地出現勞動力匮乏的當下，薪資溫和增長。在持續出現供應鏈紊亂的情況下，零售商和生産商急劇漲價。對美國經濟前景持謹慎樂觀的態度。
聯儲主席表示暫不考慮加息
克利夫蘭聯儲主席梅斯特表示：FOMC短期內不會考慮加息。我支持美聯儲現在就開始Taper（減碼QE）。2021年，美國通脹很大程度上與新冠肺炎流行病疫情有關，通脹料將在2022年回落，美聯儲將繼續追蹤。長期通脹預期與美聯儲的通脹目標保持一致。當前，根本就不擔心金融穩定性風險
