美元創逾一周新高，黃金失守1790
周三(9月8日)美元回吐部分漲幅，因美聯儲一名官員發表鴿派的經濟前景展望，導致美債收益率下跌，且歐洲央行將于周四做出政策決定。現貨黃金繼續走低，盤中一度刷新8月26日以來低點至1782.59美元/盎司，因近期美元走強和美債收益率上升，蓋過了對全球經濟成長憂慮加重對金價的提振。美油一度漲逾2%，刷新日高至69.75美元/桶，因飓風“艾達”過後美國産量回升緩慢。
美聯儲褐皮書報告：整體經濟活動增速略微放緩，至溫和擴張狀態
近期美聯儲的褐皮書報告中提到，制造、交通、非金融服務、房地産領域變得更加強勁，大多數地區的外出就餐、旅行、旅遊行業出現減速，表明新冠肺炎德爾塔變異毒株疫情讓人憂心忡忡。所有地區繼續報告就業人口增加，但就業增速以“略微至強勁”這樣的範疇為特征。大量地區稱薪資上漲。通脹高位企穩，半數地區升幅強勁。
紐約聯儲主席威廉姆斯：美聯儲在2021年減碼QE可能會是適宜的
威廉姆斯稱，複蘇需要時間，新冠肺炎德爾塔變異毒株造成不確定性。德爾塔變異毒株疫情拖累開支和就業；預計2021年GDP將增長6%。重新實現充分就業這個目標還需要大量時間。希望在實現就業目標方面看到更多進展。預計2022年通脹將放緩至2.0%，長期通脹預期符合目標。
