4月15日，市場避險情緒有所下降，公宏觀經濟數據有所好轉，黃金創下新低。亞洲股市走高，市場對貿易爭端的擔憂逐漸下降，但各大投行仍看好黃金的未來前景，預計美聯儲的政策將更加鴿派。
上周美國經濟數據表現向好，使得黃金承壓。分析師表示，一季度美聯儲轉向，但隨著經濟數據表現向好，其降息的可能變低。
如果美國零售數據表現好於預期，那麼市場對今年年末美聯儲再加息一次的預期會升溫。本週四晚間將公佈的美國3月零售銷售環比數據是市場本周關注的焦點。
據最新的CFTC數據，截至4月9日當周，對沖基金持有的黃金淨多倉大增超1萬手，使得其淨多倉總量升至105364手。從具體數據上來看，多倉增加5723手至199507手。空倉則減少5085手至94143手，創今年以來新低。
不過，黃金在上周上演了一場倒V型走勢。由於美股美元走強，使得市場風險情緒升溫，投資者選擇拋售避險資產，轉向風險資產。黃金則在突破1310美元水準之後急轉直下，接連跌破1310、1300和1290美元三道關口。
儘管美聯儲轉向鴿派立場，但美元走勢仍然堅挺，美元指數年初迄今累計上漲近1%。分析師稱美國經濟數據穩健，且美國經濟表現優於歐元區等其他主要經濟體。
今年以來，美股的表現相當不錯，標普500指數今年迄今上漲16%左右。然而，也有一些資產表現並不理想，以至於投資者似乎忽略了它們，比如黃金。
在經歷了上周的暴跌之後，黃金再度失守1300美元關鍵心理水準，當前甚至未能守住1290美元。年初迄今，黃金漲幅僅僅只有0.4%。
分析師稱，將2019年和2020年的金價預期平均上調7%。如果經濟增長繼續放緩，美聯儲將不太可能加息，甚至可能不得不降息。年底前金價的最新預測是1350美元，比當前水準高出約5%。
新手稱，黃金將在明年繼續走高，因投資者尋求避風港，金價在2020年的第一季度將會升至1400美元/盎司。美聯儲在貨幣政策方面的U型轉向以及歐洲央行近期表示將繼續維持利率不變，這些都是推動黃金被納入資產配置的原因。
