前一交易日黃金沖高回落，週五現貨黃金價格表現穩定，維持在1312美元/盎司左右。如果能夠維持在目前水準，那麼黃金市場能夠收穫連續三周上漲。法法國公佈了三大PMI數據，均跌破50榮枯線，德國製造業PMI也呈現收縮，顯示歐元區正在陷入困境，受此影響，歐元短線暴跌百點，而美元則大幅走高至96.8附近，黃金短線承壓。
本周美聯儲利率決議維持利率不變，並且給出了相當鴿派的聲明，黃金市場受到大幅提振。目前1300的支撐愈加明顯，黃金美元的相關性正在加強。
金價走高是一把雙刃劍。儘管預計投資者對黃金ETF的需求將回升，但實物需求可能由於價格上漲而放緩。金價走向更高水準仍然不是一件容易的事情。儘管對金價走強的樂觀情緒正在上升，但他表示，股市可能是黃金市場面臨的下一個障礙。
白銀與黃金和銅的高度相關性可能意味著，這種貴金屬已準備好爆發。黃金和銅都處於市場普遍關注的阻力位上方，如果歷史能夠提供指引的話，那麼白銀將走高。
白銀表現仍然令人失望，難以突破15.50美元阻力位。金銀比繼續徘徊在上世紀90年代初以來的最高水準附近。金銀比率的均值回歸（mean-reversion）將使其回到65的水準，並補充稱，如果金價保持在1300美元左右，那麼白銀價格可能會升至20美元。
