特朗普與普京即將會面，金價連續七周上漲
上周現貨黃金價格於2860一線位置開盤，隨後價格開始走高，最高一度上行至2942一線，不過週六金價收盤前出現回調，收於2880一線位置，整體表現為沖高回落走勢。不過，目前整體上行走勢依然保存良好，加上MACD指標雙線仍在金叉運行過程當中，暗示後市或仍有進一步走高的可能。
新西蘭聯儲週三降息50個基點成定局
新西蘭聯儲週三預計將官方隔夜拆款利率(OCR)下調50個基點至3.75%。去年8月以來，新西蘭聯儲已將OCR下調125個基點，旨在支持疲軟的經濟並遏制失業率上升。新西蘭聯儲主席奧爾已暗示將降息50個基點，近期的數據幾乎沒有改變此一前景。2月10日至13日的路透調查顯示，33位經濟學家中有32位預估降息50個基點，只有一位預測降息25個基點；
新西蘭聯儲在11月的政策會議表明自己的立場，稱政策導致的經濟放緩對於抑制通脹是必要的，因通脹仍在持續，但展望未來，繼續從限制性貨幣政策中回徹是合適的。由於第四季通脹率為2.2%–位於1%-3%的目標區間內–新西蘭聯儲有進一步寬鬆的空間。在經濟苦於擺脫衰退的情況下，預計2025年(週三之後)將再寬鬆 75 個基點。
美俄官員即將舉行烏克蘭問題會議
據俄羅斯媒體報導，俄羅斯和美國官員將於2月18日在沙烏地阿拉伯舉行烏克蘭問題會議。美方代表可能包括國務卿魯比奧、國家安全事務助理華爾滋和中東問題特使威特科夫，俄方外長拉夫羅夫也在籌備訪問沙特。
特朗普表示，普京和澤連斯基都希望儘快結束俄烏衝突，他與普京的會面預計將很快舉行。美國烏克蘭特使凱洛格稱，烏克蘭和平談判將不會安排歐洲參與，美國將擔任中間人，烏克蘭和俄羅斯是談判的主角。
歐洲領導人對被排除在談判之外表示強烈反對。芬蘭總統斯圖布強調，沒有歐洲參與，烏克蘭和歐洲安全結構的討論無法進行。北約秘書長呂特敦促歐洲國家提出具體建議，增加國防開支，積極參與討論。
烏克蘭總統澤連斯基呼籲建立一支歐洲軍隊，認為歐洲不能再依賴美國的保護。一些歐盟官員對此持懷疑態度，認為北約已經是歐洲的軍事支柱。
七國集團（G7）外長發表聲明，承諾繼續為烏克蘭提供安全保障，表明國際社會仍存在一定程度的合作。然而，美國將歐洲排除在談判之外的做法，可能進一步加劇美歐之間的分歧。
