美元創近二周最大漲幅，靜待通脹數據指引
周四(12月9日)美元指數漲0.28％至96.22，為11月24日以來最大漲幅；美元受到避險需求和跨貨幣對衝資金流的提振。在中國央行調高銀行的外彙存款準備金率之後，人民幣走軟也為美元提供了支持。
美股在連漲三日後收低，投資者關注CPI數據和美聯儲會議
美國股市周四收低，投資者在連續三天上漲後獲利了結，並將注意力轉向即將公布的通脹數據，以及該數據可能如何影響美聯儲下周的會議。
納斯達克指數比標普500指數跌幅更大，道瓊斯工業指數幾乎持平，收盤下跌不到1點。
在美國消費者物價指數(CPI)數據將于周五上午公布之前，投資者在觀望。若該數據高于預期，將增強美聯儲在會議上做出收緊政策決定的理由。
本周前三天，隨著人們對最新的Omicron變種的擔憂減輕，納斯達克指數上漲4.7%，標普指500數上漲3.6%，道瓊斯工業指數上漲3.4%。
Bright Trading LLC市場結構主管Dennis Dick表示：“之前漲幅很多，仍有一些人感到緊張不安。我們看到有關Omicron的釋然性大漲，但潛在的問題仍然存在，那就是美聯儲正在撤走刺激舉措。”
美國銀行首席市場策略師Joe Quinlan表示，在連續三天的上漲後，投資者可能正在獲利了解，暫停買入。
“在周五CPI數據公布前，可能會出現一些避險交易，”他表示，“如果數據比預期要高，就會真正讓人們關注美聯儲的會議，聯儲將承受更大的加快縮減購債規模的壓力。”
拜登給美國民衆打預防針，暗示11月通脹會再次急升
美國總統拜登周四試圖安撫美國民衆，稱能源價格和其他關鍵商品價格的漲勢正開始放緩，但他表示，將于周五發布的11月通脹數據可能不會反映這一變化。此番發言暗示通脹將再次急升。
路透對經濟學家的調查顯示，11月美國消費者物價指數(CPI)預計將同比跳升6.8%，10月為上漲6.2%，創31年來最大漲幅。
拜登在周五數據公布前發布的一份異常冗長的聲明中稱，“明天公布的11月能源信息沒有反映當前的現實，也沒有反映出未來幾周和幾個月預期中的價格下跌，比如在汽車市場。”
拜登重申，通過1.75萬億美元的“重建更美好未來”社會支出計劃將有助于降低價格。
白宮國家經濟委員會主任狄斯在白宮的例行吹風會上強調了同樣的信息。
他大贊失業率降至1969年的水平，實際家庭收入增加，以及他所說的勞動力參與方面“令人鼓舞的迹象”，同時告誡不要過度解讀周五的數據。
他表示，“從定義上看，這些數據就是落後的，因此沒有反映最近的一些價格走勢，特別是在能源領域。”他指出，全國汽油價格下跌了9美分。
他稱，美國有20個州的汽油價格低于20年平均水平，未來幾周應該會有更多州也達到這種水平。他稱，在冬季取暖季節到來之前，天然氣價格的“非常大幅的下降”也會有所幫助。
總的來看，金價本周連續四個交易日窄幅震蕩，主要因為投資者在周五的CPI出爐前謹慎交投，這種情況料將在周五白天繼續維持。
