3月30日，現貨黃金維持在1620附近，但由於疫情還沒有得到明顯控制，股市下行的同時也會給金價帶來一定壓力，但是從中長期來看，美聯儲的無線QE措施以及全球經濟衰退的擔憂將給金價帶來強勁支撐。
全球疫情帶來的擔憂情緒越來越嚴重，股市也面臨下行壓力，雖然各國央行和政府推出了刺激政策短期內提振了市場情緒，但隨著疫情的蔓延，股市仍然面臨下行壓力。而股市下行壓力使得投資者不得不拋售黃金，以換取現金。
雖然股市下跌壓力越來越大，但各國政府的財政刺激方案給市場帶來積極因素，並限制股市下行。在上周美國政府推出2萬億美元的刺激方案之後，本周各國跟隨美國政府推出更多刺激措施。
近期金價面臨的下行壓力，主要因素在於金融市場流動性趨緊，投資者不得不拋售黃金以換取現金。
不過，上周美聯儲決定無限量購買債券的措施大大緩和了市場流動性。雖然短期內這種流動性危機並未完全解決，但隨著時間推移，股市企穩，流動性危機進一步緩和，那麼金價有望受到美聯儲政策的強力支撐。
聯儲印鈔機的馬力開到了最大。上週四，美聯儲更新了每週發佈一次的資產負債總規模的資料，過去一周其資產總量增至5.25萬億美元，增量為5860億美元，這還沒算上聯儲在過去兩周裡大量買入的按揭質押債券的金額，因為按揭質押債券的清算過戶還需要一段時間才能完成，因此等清算完成後會體現在賬上。
聯儲正在買入所有種類所有期限的美國國債，過去兩周的短期國債持倉量幾乎沒啥變化，自回購市場暴雷以來聯儲以每月約600億美元的速度大量買進短期國債。也就是說，聯儲對於到期的短期國債只是以新換舊而已，總量保持不變，國債持倉總量的增量部分幾乎完全來自長期限的美國國債。
全球經濟衰退的預期已成既定事實。外媒3月27日刊載題為《IMF總裁說世界經濟陷入衰退，各國必須“大規模”支出》的報導稱，國際貨幣基金組織（IMF）總裁27日警告說，疫情已經讓全球經濟陷入衰退，各國必須以“極大規模的”支出應對，避免一連串的破產和新興市場債務違約。
