國際金價跌至新低，但市場依舊“現金為王”

3月16日，現貨黃金創新近三個月的新低，雖然美聯儲為了安撫情緒和緩解資金的短缺做了很大努力——實行巨大降息，但市場對美聯儲降息的有效性包郵較大之一，依舊奉行“現金為王“，繼續賣出貴金屬獲利交易單來彌補股市帶來的損失。
美聯儲再度意外大幅降息，幅度擴大到100個基點，聯邦基金利率區間下調至0-0.25%。美聯儲還表示，將在未來幾周擴大資產負債表至少7000億美元。
中國人民銀行週一實施定向降准，釋放長期資金5500億元。同時，開展中期借貸便利（MLF）操作1000億元。
美聯儲發表聲明稱，新冠疫情損害到社區並破壞了包括美國在內很多國家的經濟活動。全球金融狀況受到嚴重影響。美國企業固定投資和出口依然低迷，能源行業承壓，核心通脹率低於2%。疫情相關影響將在近期內令經濟活動承壓，並給經濟前景帶來風險。
冠狀病毒蔓延已造成全球逾15萬人感染，近5800人死亡，金融市場近期動盪不安。美聯儲在時隔不到兩周的時間裡連續意外大幅降息，意在恢復金融市場平靜，並保證美元市場流動性，因此美元短期內跌勢受限。
許多人對於決策高層緩解新冠疫情經濟衝擊的有效性充滿不安，認為美聯儲的超大動作，恰恰凸顯出美國處境的嚴峻程度。新冠病毒疫情加速升級，已使美國面臨經濟衰退威脅。如果向家庭和企業的傳導機制受損，則降息不會產生效用。
總體而言，高盛對2020年美國GDP增速的預估從最初的1.2%降至0.4%。高盛表示：“所有這些預估數字面臨的不確定性都比正常時期要大。”
美聯儲出臺了大規模寬鬆措施，反而加深部份投資人的焦慮，美國股指期貨仍然暴跌，週一開盤不久便封死跌停板至今，為了確保對沖交易兩邊帳戶資金平衡，投資者不得不拋售黃金獲利頭寸。
分析師稱：“這可能提振風險資產，幫助緩解流動性擔憂…但這也增強了公共衛生風險進一步惡化時美聯儲是否還有工具可用的疑慮。我們其實需要見到財政政策…以避免經濟放緩時間出現不必要的延長。”
