金價探底回升，美債收益率倒掛

在貿易局勢不確定的背景下，美國國債收益率曲線倒掛，市場預期美國經濟短期內會受到衝擊。
週四美國國債市場再度發出警告訊號，美國3個月期國債收益率與10年期國債收益率再次出現倒掛，息差擴大至2007年以來最高水準，暗示經濟衰退即將爆發。
分析師指出，美債市場發生的一切，歸根到底就是對增長預期進行重新評估。即使出現了國債收益率曲線倒掛，但我們仍然認為未來12個月內不會發生經濟衰退。通常，這個訊號的領先時間很長。
日內美國經濟數據對金價影響有限。晚間公佈的美國經濟數據好壞參半，對市場價格的影響較為有限。其中，美國第一季核心PCE物價指數季率修正值低於預期，而美國第一季度實際GDP實際GDP季率小幅上修，而美國4月批發庫存超出預期。
美國和中國之間的貿易緊張局勢沒有緩和的跡象。中國一位高級外交官週四表示，故意挑起貿易糾紛是赤裸裸的經濟恐怖主義，經濟沙文主義，經濟欺淩。
人民日報警告美國不要低估中國的反擊能力。該報稱，“不要說我們沒有警告你!”分析指出，稀土可能成為反擊美國的武器。中美之間的互動標誌著長期貿易戰的風險增加，激發了投資者對黃金在內的避險資產的熱情。
投資者更青睞於選擇美元和美國政府債券來對沖美國和中國之間的貿易緊張局勢，而貿易局勢帶來的避險對黃金的支撐較為有限。
美元一直被用作貿易緊張局勢的首選對沖，並重複去年出現的強勁趨勢，而美元走強也使以其他貨幣計價的黃金價格更高。美元也受益於債券需求的增加，因為購買債券需要貨幣。
分析師指出，“圍繞著市場的避險大環境，這種環境會支撐金價走的更高，但就目前而言，投資者更加關注的是美元和美債，黃金則是其次。”
與此同時，全球最大的黃金支持交易所交易基金SPDR Gold Trust的持倉週三上漲0.5％至740.86噸。儘管週三上漲，但SPDR黃金持有量今年迄今下跌超過6％。
