強勢美元不必擔心，靜候美聯儲消息

3月29日，現貨黃金有所反彈，因美元指數有所回落。美元指數預計錄得5個月以來的最大漲幅，但歐元英鎊總體較為疲軟，美元指數抵擋住了收益率曲線倒掛的影響。但美國公佈的經濟數據創新低，而美聯儲2020年降息概率進一步升高。
歐元本月跌去近1.3%，料錄得自去年10月以來最大月線跌幅，受收益率下降影響，且憂心歐元區恐將遭遇長時間的經濟放緩。英鎊本月下跌逾1.2%，料時隔兩個月重新收陰，因英國脫歐協議迅速獲批的前景黯淡。
歐洲央行將引入分級存款利率的臆測，提供了決策者計畫在更長時間內維持低利率的跡象，這也拖累歐元。本月稍早歐銀削減歐元區經濟增長預期，並向銀行業提供新一輪低息貸款。加上德、法兩國經濟數據走弱，促使對沖基金削減歐元多倉。
在英國議會將又一次就特雷莎·梅的脫歐協議舉行投票之前，交易員為英鎊出現更大波動做好準備。許多英鎊投資者持觀望態度，因此造成流動性匱乏，英鎊兌美元日內劇震近130點。
投資者將聚焦週五美中貿易磋商進展的信號，美國貿易官員已在北京同中方展開談判。中國國務院總理李克強在海南博鼇出席博鼇亞洲論壇2019年年會開幕式上表示，將進一步放寬外資市場准入。
市場還在關注美聯儲動向，聯邦基金利率期貨市場完全反映了未來兩年將不會有任何的升息，儘管美股在去年底大跌後已反彈。
境外權威機構調查顯示，儘管美聯儲預估明年升息一次，但在美聯儲3月19-20日會議之後，針對100多位分析師的調查顯示，至少在2020年底前美聯儲不會升息，2020年底前至少降息一次的機率為40%。
美聯儲更重視的通脹指標預計短期內不會大幅上升。美國1月PCE物價指數年率符合預期的1.40%，但較前值低了0.3個百分點，持平2017年8月以來低點；1月核心PCE物價指數年率錄得1.80%，不及預期值和前值0.1個百分點。
分析師表示：“鑒於升息規劃直至2020年，目前美聯儲仍暗示傾向於收緊政策，但由於2020年稍晚有總統大選，特朗普總統會不遺餘力地挑戰美聯儲的任何升息舉措，以從中得到政治資本。”
