土耳其金融市場遭受打擊，黃金深陷泥潭
因為現貨黃金大幅走軟，同時市場對土耳其經濟金融危機的恐慌情緒不斷擴散。不僅新興市場貨幣暴跌，投資者還收縮歐元區資產風險口。土耳其貨幣的暴跌推動了投資者湧向美元等避險資產。
土耳其里拉在週一早盤觸及紀錄低點7.24後尋獲些許支撐。之前土耳其財政部長阿爾巴伊拉克(Berat Albayrak)表示，該國已擬訂一項經濟行動計畫，以紓緩投資者的疑慮。土耳其銀行業監管機構在一份聲明中表示，已限制銀行業者的外匯掉期交易。

埃爾多安上周日(6月12日)對支持者發表講話時，駁斥了有關土耳其陷入與20年前亞洲類似的金融危機的說法，並表示里拉崩跌是一場陰謀導致的，並沒有反映土耳其的經濟基本面。他說道：“引發這次茶杯裏的風暴的原因是什麼？並非經濟原因，而是被稱之為針對土耳其的行動。”
隨著里拉最新一波挫跌，土耳其信用違約互換(CDS)跳漲至2008年全球金融危機以來最高。土耳其銀行業監管機構BBDK在一份聲明中表示，將限制銀行業者的外匯掉期交易。
分析師稱：“市場最害怕的是情況將演變成一場全面性的新興市場危機。”他以1997年亞洲金融危機為例，當時就連宏觀經濟體質穩健的一些國家都難逃遭遇大幅拋售。
埃爾多安指出，美國的貿易政策違背WTO規則，美國試圖從在土耳其背後捅刀子，土耳其將適時對攻擊採取行動。他並警告稱，預計對土耳其的攻擊還將繼續，需對不同形式的攻擊做好準備，散佈有關土耳其經濟的假新聞將被視為叛國。
檢察官辦公室稱，土耳其成為經濟攻擊的目標，並誓言將對那些被認定為這類攻擊行動的書面、影音訊息以及社群媒體帳戶採取法律行動。
德國一名政府發言人表示，土耳其經濟穩定對德國有利，德國正密切關注情勢發展。該名發言人是在被問到土耳其里拉崩盤時做出上述表示。
德國財政部一名發言人指出，20國集團(G20)成員國中並未就此情勢進行危機對話。
該名發言人表示，目前要就德國企業在土耳其的曝險置評仍為時過早，同時他拒絕就當地最新發展做出評價。
