纸黄金交易成本按设有纸黄金开户和交易业务的不同银行来确定，现时中国境内的办理纸黄金业务的商业银行，其纸黄金交易成本平均为0.45元/克，若要买入1千克的纸黄金，所需的纸黄金交易成本为450元。
以中国建设银行为例，现在中国建设银行的纸黄金交易成本为0.4元/克，交易手续费仅是占纸黄金交易合约的万分之四，除此以外，由于银行按纸黄金的中间价分别报出了纸黄金买入和卖出价，而买入和卖出价之间存在点差，扣除点差后的价格是系统自动报给纸黄金投资客户的，所以点差不用从客户的纸黄金账户中扣除。
除了上述的纸黄金交易成本，投资者不再支付其他关于纸黄金交易的费用，所以纸黄金交易成本对于广大纸黄金投资用户而言，费用较低，一定程度上提高了其投资的吸引力。
