2、公开市场中的需求数字不精准。黄金的供给数据只需将产金国家的年产量相加便可获得较有效数据，黄金需求数据则较难获取。例如某个企业将金币熔化用于工业生产，有可能使需求数据重复计算。
3.无法提供入市时机依据。投资者经过基本面分析后，大概知道了黄金价格是牛市抑或熊市。但是具体要在什么时机介入呢？是在金价突破时进场，还是回调后介入？基本面分析并不能告诉投资者入市的最佳时机。
