1、 金价被操控？
对于伦敦黄金定盘价被操控的传言甚嚣尘上。纽约大学斯特恩商学院的Rosa Abrantes-Metz和穆迪投资者服务公司(Moody’s Investors Service)总经理Albert Metz起草了一份分析金价在围绕定盘价的电话会议时所出现波动的报告。有报道称，自2004年起，在下午的定盘价电话会议时，经常出现伦敦金价格大变，在上午会议时没有这种情况，并且在2004年前也没有。
并且下午出现的大的价格波动基本都是金价下跌。报告指出，在围绕定盘价电话会议时金价出现大波动的日子中，自2004至2013年中有6年中，这些波动的三分之二是下跌的。在2010年，这些波动中92%是下跌的。
如果这真的是价格操纵的证据，那么这些银行可能就是在定盘价获利。
2、德国取回黄金的困难。
去年1月德国央行称将要取回存于美国、英国和法国的一半的黄金，其计划是在8年内从美联储取回300吨黄金。但据报道，去年德国央行只从纽约拿回了5吨黄金。因此引发了对这些黄金已经不复存在的怀疑。
尽管对于德国取回黄金的缓慢，这些银行都以运输为由来解释，但很显然这并不能打消人们的疑虑。
