现阶段，双方争执互相指责对方，应对刺激案谈判缺乏进展负有责任，但白宫经济顾问库德洛称，他预测谈判还会继续进行。另外，多位美联储官员仍跟随美联储主席鲍威尔的步伐，呼吁财政刺激，这暗示无论时间早晚，美国终究将会推出财政刺激，这给金价提供支撑。
欧洲多国经济面临困境
在二次疫情爆发的影响下，欧洲各国的每日新增数字依然十分惊人，这让经济再次遭受打击，目前欧洲多国已经开始在考虑实施更多的宽松政策，以帮助经济稳定下来。欧洲央行首席经济学家连恩在接受采访时表示，欧洲央行对通胀前景不满意，至于是否需要推出更多货币刺激措施，将在每次会议上根据具体情况再做决定。
目前市场普遍预期欧洲央行将在12月份扩大购债规模，这支持投资者不断买入黄金抵御通货膨胀。尽管从长远背景来看，黄金依然具有一定的升值空间，不过、价格要想短期之内再次回到2000大关，恐怕还需要更多的刺激力度，例如美国大选是否会出现什么意外的变数。
