经济学家的谈话
两个经济学家在一起打赌，甲经济学家对乙经济学家说：如果你能吃掉一滩狗屎，我就给你100万元。乙经济学家经不起100万元的诱惑，就真的吃了一滩狗屎，甲只好给了乙100万元。过了一会儿，乙觉得吃了一滩狗屎很恶心，就对甲经济学家说，如果你也吃一滩狗屎，我也给你100万元。甲很心疼那100万元，就也吃了一滩狗屎，于是乙便把100万元退给了甲。
过了一会儿，乙经济学家觉得不对味，就对甲经济学家说：我们两个人什么也没有得到，却无端每人吃了一滩狗屎。甲经济学家想了一会儿说：但是在我们的交换过程中，创造了200万元的GDP。这就是GDP，只是一个供参考的数字而已，不必太认真。
温水煮青蛙
19世纪末美国康奈尔大学的科学家做了个实验，将一直活生生的青蛙放到已经煮沸的开水中，青蛙一下子就跳了出来，逃过了一劫。
后来科学家将青蛙当在温水中，再慢慢加热，青蛙一开始很舒服地躺在温水中，但是当水温升到它无法忍受的时候，它已经没有心力跳出来了，就只能这样在热水中煮死。
这个道理和我们买股票和基金时候一样，当市场突然大跌，很多人会保本离场，而市场慢慢阴跌，投资者总觉得有转机，最终本金都要被跌完。
