在很久以前，有一家赌场是专门赌骨牌的，庄家设置的骨牌一共有50个数字，从1-50任由赌客押注，只要庄家开出来的那个数字你押中了，庄家就会以50倍赔率给你钱。
而一天，有个一直输的老顾客带着50注赌注来到赌场中，并向庄家说：“我从今以后就要戒赌了，但在戒赌前，我一定要赢一次，今天我就带着50注入场，从1押到50，不可能一个都不中，只要赢了这次，我明天就收手！”
说完，老顾客便去上厕所，而在走向厕所的途中，他不小心掉了一注赌注，庄家乘赌客没注意，便偷偷地把这一注收起来，打开一看是26。
等到赌客从厕所回来后，把赌注全部摆上台面，却发现只有49注，最后一注怎么也找不到，他挠挠头说：“奇怪，我明明带了50注来，那一注掉到什么地方去了？会不会留在家里没带来？”
而庄家急着开骨牌，也催促赌客快点下注，最后赌客没办法志豪表示：“算了，只差一个数字，应该不会有太大的关系。”
于是庄家直接开牌，这一开自然毫无疑问是26，而旁边的人，也全神贯注盯着桌面上的49注赌注，打开第一个，押26；第二个，押26；第三个还是26……最后，49注赌注全是押26，庄家就此赔得破产。
其实，这个故事对我们最大的启发是，很多时候我们以为投资时随机事件，能赚钱只是靠运气，但实际上像黄金、股票这类投资，其行情走势都存在一定规律，只要我们摸清其中的套路，便可大幅增加盈利概率，成为理财市场中的大赢家。
