投资的本质，就是弄清供需关系

一个年轻人抓住了老鼠，卖了一家药店。 他拿到了铜钱。 他穿过果园，听到园丁说他渴了，他有了另一个主意。 他从铜币中买了一点糖浆，然后用水掺和了一下送给园丁喝。 园丁们喝了水，就送给了他一束花。 他去市场卖掉了这束花，得到了八个铜币。
一天，风雨交加，果园里到处都是被强风吹倒的枯树枝和树叶。 那个年轻人对园丁说：“如果把这些枯枝落叶给我，我愿意打扫果园。” 园丁很高兴：“没问题，你可以把它全部拿走！” 这个年轻人用8个铜币买了一袋糖果，分给了一群玩耍的孩子，孩子们帮助他捡起了所有的树枝和树叶。 那个年轻人再次去皇家厨师那里，说有一堆柴火要卖给他们。 厨师付了16枚铜币，买了柴火。
那个年轻人用16枚铜币谋生，开起了一个茶水摊。 没过多久，他遇到了一个路过喝水的商人。 这位商人告诉他：“明天，马商将把400匹马带进城里。” 年轻人仔细一想，就对城里的割草工人说：“我今天不收钱，请你们每人给我一捆草好吗？” 工人们慷慨地说：“好！” 于是，那个年轻人有500捆草。等第二天当马商来买饲料时，他出了1000铜币买下了年轻人的500捆草。 几年后，年轻人成为了著名的大富翁。
其实，这个故事对我们做投资交易也是有很大帮助的，因为投资的本质，就是弄清供需关系。比如说当我们分析出社会上对黄金需求量准备升高时，我们就要趁著黄金还没开始涨价，就在合理的相对低位先买入，等到金价上涨后赚取其中的差价，就跟故事中年轻人一样，以相对较低的价格先买下别人未来可能需求的东西，等到时机成熟再以高价卖给他们！
