今天我们从金融的角度来看卖雨伞和鞋子的问题。老太太两个儿子的生意其实有一种“对冲”关系。金融学上，对冲指特意减低另一项投资的风险的投资。这是一种降低商业风险的方法，同时仍然能从投资中获利。对冲是什么意思？对冲交易即同时进行两笔行情相关、方向相反、数量相当、盈亏相抵的交易。
在投资现货黄金的时候，遇到震荡行情，投资者也会运用这种“对冲”思维，比如一些投资者在行情不晴朗的时候会“锁仓”，交易两笔数量相等，方向相反的单子，待金价走势明朗之后，再平仓方向和金价相反的单子，持有方向和金价一致的单子。这种种交易方法，可以在一定程度上降低投资风险，把握盈利机会。
