美国二手楼签约量跌至逾两年新低，反映房市景气尚未摆脱利率上升与冬天恶劣天候所造成的冲击，并暗示未来房市交易活动恐进一步放慢。全美不动产协会(NAR)27日公布，2月份已签约待过户成屋销售指数(PHSI)较前月下滑0.8百分点(2001年基期=100)至93.9点，此为2011年10月以来新低水平。由于从签约到正式交屋通常有1至2个月的时间落差，因此签约待过户成屋销售指数常被视为美国房市动能的领先指标。若与去年同期相比，签约待过户成屋销售指数年减率达10.5%。
美国四大地区表现好坏互见，南部地区衰退4%、东北部下滑2.4%。与此同时，中西部上升2.8%，西部回升2.4%。
