美银美林：美国天气回暖 美元将快速走强

美银美林(BofA Merrill Lynch)的汇市分析师霍普金森(John Hopkinson)周二(3月18日)指出，他本人认为，如果在此后入春后天气明显回暖的背景下美国经济数据总体状况也出现显著好转，那么美元指数将会在短期内录得快速走强。
目前来看，至少1月份的美国ISM制造业采购经理人指数(PMI)受到了恶劣天气的影响已是毋庸质疑的事实，而其他一些数据的受影响程度则仍有待观察。因此，此后3月份的ISM制造业数据的表现就相当关键，而该数据也因而可能推动美元指数大幅走强。
而分析师同时指出，鉴于绝大多数的股市投资并未被加以货币对冲，因此股市的资金流动状况在此后或也会对汇市产生更多影响。在市场利率水平上升的背景下，资金已开始从债市向股市流动，这一状况自2013年5月份开始发生，并使得股市的涨跌会对汇市产生更多的影响。
