美国就业状况显著低下 耶伦将尽己所能达标

联储局(FED)新任主席耶伦(Janet Yellen)依旧认为美国经济成长还跟不上国家设定的目标，她承诺会采取更多措施来让通膨、就业率顺利达标。彭博社、Thomson Reuters报导，耶伦5日在华盛顿宣誓就职时表示，现在还有太多美国人找不到工作或被迫打零工，而通膨、就业状况也显著低于国会给FED定下的目标。她承诺要尽己所能，与央行同僚努力让经济达成目标。不过，耶伦仍表示，美国经济目前已经更为强健、金融体系也更加稳定。联储局(FED)5日公布褐皮书(Beige Book)指出，12个辖区当中大多数的景气皆有改善，虽然纽约、费城辖区有降温迹象，但这主要是受到超乎寻常的严峻天候影响。
另外，耶伦也打算延续前任主席伯南克(Ben S. Bernanke)的作法，改善央行与市场的沟通情况以及政策的透明度。她5日表示，伯南克在2011年首度召开记者会来让FED的货币政策更加透明可信，而她也把这个作法继续承袭下去。联邦公开市场操作委员会(FOMC)预计要在3月18-19日召开例行货币政策会议，这是第一场由耶伦主持的FOMC会议，而市场普遍预期FED会将量化宽松货币政策(QE)进一步减码100亿美元。耶伦在上任后于2月11日首度赴国会作证。她当时向共和党主导的众议院金融服务委员会(The House Financial Services Committee)表示，会延续前任主席伯南克(Ben S. Bernanke)的政策，缓步缩减QE规模。她并暗示，改变作法的门坎很高，宣称QE减码步伐只会在经济展望明显恶化时才会暂停。
