2014年1月费城制造业景气指数优于预期

费城联邦储备银行(Philadelphia FED)公布1月份当地制造业景气判断指数优于预期，自前月的6.4点上升至9.4点。指数呈现正值代表当地制造业活动增温，反之则为萎缩。据MarketWatch调查，经济学家原预估指数将升至8.9点。
费城制造业景气判断指数已连续8个月呈现正值。当月组成分项数据呈现上升走势的有，出货指数月增0.2点至12.1点；未完成订单指数月增5.6点至负1点；交货指数月增5.2点至负2.8点；价格支付指数月增2.3点至18.7点，衡量就业市况的雇员指数月增5.6点至10点。
另外，新接订单指数月减7.8点至5.1点，库存指数剧减35.6点至负19.6点；价格收取指数下滑5.7点至5.1点。
未来6个月景气判断指数下滑10.4点至34.4点，其中，新订单预期指数下滑7.3点至38.4点，未完成订单指数下滑8.8点至33.2点，交货指数下滑12.8点至负10.6点。
本月特别调查企业对于今年的人力聘雇计划，预估增聘的比例达41%，而预期缩编的比例仅只有10%。至于影响招聘计划最大的因素为营运成本与未来销售展望。除此之外，劳工的职能与健康保险等也有相当程度的影响。
