美国奥巴马提名费雪担任Fed下届副主席

美国奥巴马总统10日正式提名以色列前央行总裁费雪(Stanley Fischer)担任联储局(FED)下届副主席。除此之外，前财政部国际事务高官Lael Brainard亦获得提名出任FED理事，而任期将在月底届满的现任理事Jerome Powell则获得续任。三人的人事案仍需获得参议院表决通过后生效。Fischer今年70岁，是知名经济学家，过去曾担任过以色列央行总裁。FED主席柏南克与欧洲央行总裁德拉吉过去都是他的学生。
1994-2001年，当Fischer担任国际货币基金组织(IMF)副座时曾协助处理亚洲金融风暴，之后担任以色列央行总裁时也协助该国成功度过2007-2009年金融海啸。路透社报导，奥巴马在声明稿上表示，Fischer学经历丰富，且是世界知名最具经验的经济政策大师。FED理事共有7名，除了上述Brainard、Powell之外，由于另一名现任理事Sarah Bloom即将跳槽至财政部任职(其人事案正在等候参院表决)，因此奥巴马很快就必须再提名另一位候选人来填补Bloom的遗缺。
