美国假期销售表现佳 Gap：年度盈余将在预估值高点

美国服饰业耶诞假期难过，不少品牌因业界流血促销、加上客流疲软，下修获利展望，但是Gap Inc.表现意外突出，年终销售出现成长，预料年度盈余将落在预估区间的高段。
美联社和华尔街日报报导，Gap 9日宣布1月5日为止的9周，业绩成长2%至36.8亿美元，同期同店销售攀升1%。该公司先前的年度展望为每股盈余2.57-2.65美元，如今宣布年度盈余应在预估值的高点。
Gap 9日美股正常盘涨0.56%收39.42美元，盘后闻讯续涨2.71%至40.49美元。
不过，该公司12月同店销售持平，不及市场预期的走高1.5%。以品牌而言，12月 Gap同名店同店销售增升1%，未及分析师预估的走扬3.1%。Banana Republic业绩持平，不如市场预期的成长0.7%。Old Navy下滑2%，逊于分析师估计的走跌1.8%。
Gap近期产品跟上流行趋势，推出多色牛仔裤等，市场反应良好，带动近几季同店销售好转。但该公司仍面对快速时尚业者如Forever 21、Zara的激烈竞争。
