美国11月消费支出成长创5个月新高，显示民间消费信心好转，并有望进一步拉动经济成长。
消费占七成美国的GDP。美国商务部23日公布数据显示，11月个人消费支出月增0.5%(630亿美元)，为连续第7个月呈现上扬走势，且增幅符合分析师预期。另外，10月份个人消费支出月增率还由期初公布的0.3%上修至0.4%。
正如联储局(FED)上周所言，美国经济活动已有显著改善，而消费动能提升正好验证这项看法。国际货币基金组织(IMF))日前表示将调升美国明年经济展望。IMF 10月曾预估2014年美国GDP将成长2.6%。
扣除通膨与税负之实质可支配个人所得回升0.2%，虽然优于前月的月减0.1%，但低于道琼社调查预估的月增0.4%。支出大于薪资成长导致储蓄率自前月的4.5%下滑至4.2%，创9个月新低。
FED用以衡量通膨状况的个人消费支出平减指数与前月持平，而较去年同期成长0.9%(FED预设通膨年增率为2%)。排除食品和能源不计之核心个人消费支出平减指数月增0.1%。
