美国11月工业生产指数优于预期 增幅创1年新高

美国联储局(FED)16日公布11月份工业生产指数优于预期，较前期上升1.1%(年增3.2%)至101.3(2007年基期=100)，增幅创近1年来新高。据路透社调查，经济学家原预估生产指数将上升0.5%。当月以矿业、公用事业表现最为亮眼，产出分别月增1.7%与3.9%，意味着美国年末景气有望倒吃甘蔗、渐入佳境。至于占工业生产组成四分之三的制造业分项指数则月增0.6%、年增2.9%。工业产能利用率虽然自前月的78.2%上升至79%，但还是远不及1972至2012年的长期平均值80.2%点。占美国GDP比例12%的制造业产能利用率上升0.4个百分点至76.8%；矿业上升1.1个百分点至89.7%；公用事业上升3个百分点至81%。
产能利用率是FED利率决策的参考指标之一，过低显示企业设备被闲置、景气偏弱，宽松货币政策将不会改变。反之，产能利用率若过高则有景气过热、通膨上升之虞，因此FED有可能升息调节景气。
