摩根拟付110亿美元和解官司

华尔街日报25日报导,知情人士消息指出,摩根大通正在与美国司法部门协商官司和解,估计摩根将支付110亿美元。尽管和解金看似高昂,但是对官司缠身的摩根来说却可获得解脱,因此摩根股价当日闻讯大受激励。
据悉,初步和解协议包含70亿美元的现金罚款与40亿美元的消费者补偿准备。不过,由于两造对于和解金多寡仍有数十亿美元的落差,而政府部门想赶在下周定稿,因此在无法取得共识的状况下,协议最终仍有可能破局。
摩根大通树大招风,今年可谓风波不断,除了去年的伦敦鲸事件还余波荡漾外,房利美(Fannie Mae)与房地美(Freddie Mac)也指控该公司在金融海啸期间以不当讯息销售房贷抵押证券(MBS)。据统计,摩根大通目前共遭至少11个政府机构调查。
摩根大通股价当日劲扬2.36%至51.7美元,涨幅居道琼30档成分股之首。
