桑默斯退选 美国10年公债殖利率走软

受美国总统奥巴马15日宣布前财长桑默斯(Lawrence Summers)放弃角逐下任联准会(FED)主席、为市场投下震撼弹的影响，美国10年公债殖利率16日走软。
彭博社报导，根据Bloomberg Bond Trader报价，纽约债市9月16日尾盘时，5年期公债殖利率下挫7个基点至1.62%；10年期公债殖利率下跌2%至2.86%，当日稍早一度大跌11个基点；30年期公债殖利率上涨3个基点至3.87%。债券价格与殖利率呈现反向走势。
华尔街日报16日报导，这是美国10年期公债价格连续第4个交易日上扬，连涨天数创4月以来新高，显示债市在经历夏季的抛售潮之后，已逐渐止稳。不过，10年期公债价格涨幅16日稍晚出现收敛，主要是受到部份投资人决定在联邦公开市场操作委员会(FOMC)会议展开前先行获利了结的影响。
桑默斯放弃角逐下任FED主席，让FED现任副主席叶伦(Janet Yellen)出线机率大增，而市场普遍预期叶伦倘若接班，则她很有可能会延长短天期利率在低档的时间。诺贝尔经济学奖得主克鲁曼(Paul Krugman)于美东时间15日晚间7时14分贴文表示，桑默斯退出后，奥巴马真的很难不选择叶伦，因为当前已无其他人选符合资格。
太平洋投资管理公司(PIMCO)共同投资长葛洛斯(Bill Gross)15日晚间也透过Twitter指出，桑默斯退出可能会让5年期、30年期公债殖利率曲线变得陡峭，两者利差可能会扩大10个基点，而股市前景则非常看好。PIMCO执行长Mohamed El-Erian 15日则在Business Insider贴文表示，桑默斯不当FED主席，让市场认为FED延续当前宽松货币政策的机率大增，这对短天期公债价格尤其具有支撑性。
不过，彭博社报导，法国巴黎银行利率策略师Aaron Kohli表示，FOMC将在17-18日召开会议，而量化宽松货币政策(QE)减码与否仍是本周瞩目的焦点，也成为左右市场的重要因素。
