美非农就业人数停滞 美国制造业并未进入复苏阶段

页岩油产量大增已经让美国制造业迈向复苏坦途？数据显示这并非事实！彭博社报导，今年迄今美国非农业就业人数增加1.1%至1.361亿，同一时间制造业就业人数则是停滞在低于1,200万水平。美国制造业就业人数在2010年2月创下1941年以来新低，自此至今增加逾50万份工作。美国制造业就业人数在2000年的时候曾高达1,700万，但现在则是较2007年12月(经济衰退起点)短少13%。
《日本制造业就业创50年新低，货币战打定了》一文在2月中旬就已指出，美国制造业就业人数虽然出现反弹(注：2013年8月为1,196.3万人、低于今年1月的1,196.5万人)，但目前大约与2009年、1940年代相差不多。J.P摩根证券9月3日发布报告指出，高税率/员工福利令美国制造业成本平均较其前九大贸易伙伴高出9%。
2007年迄今汉威联合(Honeywell International Inc.)总计裁减美国员工人数5千人至52,000人，同一时间美国以外地区员工则是增加15,000人至80,000人。美国总统欧巴马(Barack Obama)曾在2010年3月发下「五年内外销金额倍增」豪语、誓言将创造出200万份就业机会。
华尔街日报报导，今年3月Honeywell执行长David Cote在受访时指出，在经济成长率突破3%以前美国就业市场的成长速度不会有明显的改善。Honeywell目前的雇用步调是每4-5人离职仅增补2-3人。Cote说，美国经济持续面临许多变数，Honeywell的增员步调将会进一步放慢。
Joseph Aldy、William Pizer在2009年5月替Pew Center撰写的一篇报告中指出，美国制造业当中仅有十分之一企业其能源成本占整体出货值的5%或更高。2013年8月份美国制造业业平均周薪为811.60美元(年增2.3%)、较民间平均周薪(678.72美元)多出19.6%。
根据JP摩根发表的研究报告，美国制造业工人目前平均月薪达3,885美元、较2001年成长32%。同一时间，德国、日本制造业工人月薪则是分别成长78%、42%至3,716美元、2,958美元。
