美元高位回落，黃金收于五個月來最高
周三(11月17日)美元指數從16個月高點回落，因美債收益率下跌，日元兌美元創近三個月最大漲幅，歐元兌瑞郎跌至2015年以來的最低水平。黃金期貨從連續兩個交易日的下跌中反彈，並創6月以來的最高收盤價，通脹飙升繼續為貴金屬價格提供支撐。原油期貨價格下跌並創10月初以來的最低收盤價，美國總統拜登正在尋找降低美國汽油零售價格的途徑。
歐洲央行管委Schnabel：通脹時期可能更長
歐洲央行管委表示，通脹會比預期的更長時間，歐洲央行必須避免過早收緊政策。通脹將在2022年明顯下降。加息的條件不太可能在2022年實現。基于市場的通脹前景與歐洲央行目標一致。勞動力市場的疲軟可能比想象的更快消散。政策組合應從QE轉向其他工具。緊急抗疫購債計劃（PEPP）可能在2022年3月結束。
美國汽油價格今年飙升五成 拜登敦促聯邦機構調查
美國總統拜登敦促聯邦貿易委員會(FTC)調查美國汽油市場可能的非法行為，但該機構的任何調查都不太可能立刻對汽油零售價格産生影響。在致周三致FTC主席Lina Khan的信中，拜登寫道，美國人在多個經濟領域感受到了漲價的影響。拜登目前的民意支持率下滑，說明這個問題也拖累了他的政治聲望。但拜登的信多數只具有象征性意義。州和聯邦監管機構在汽油價格飙升時啓動價格調查並不罕見。這些調查很少會轉化為實際法律行動。
