美元走低黄金跳涨，美油续刷七年新高
周三(10月20日)美元指数跌至接近一个月低点，许多美国公司的强劲财报减轻了人们对经济增长放缓和通胀上升的担忧；纽元和澳元涨幅居前，分别徘徊在四个月和三个月高点附近。黄金期货价格连续第二个交易日收高，对通胀压力上升的担忧推动金价上涨，但美债收益率走强使金价涨幅受到限制。美油涨逾1%，续刷近七年高点至83.65美元/桶，美国能源信息署(EIA)报告显示上周原油库存减少40万桶，使许多人对原油库存将会增加的预期落空。
美联储褐皮书：对美国经济前景持谨慎乐观的态度
美国经济活动的增速介于温和到适度。软件和IT行业温和增长，零售行业保持稳定、或略微超过新冠肺炎疫情之前的水平。
新车和二手车需求克服有限的供应。航空出行和酒店入住率较2020年同期上升。独栋住房销售趋于疲软，但在2020年爆发新冠疫情的情况下，那可能体现出正常的季节性模式。房价继续上涨，商业地产市场形势稳定，但办公室租赁前景仍然不确定。在大面积地出现劳动力匮乏的当下，薪资温和增长。在持续出现供应链紊乱的情况下，零售商和生产商急剧涨价。对美国经济前景持谨慎乐观的态度。
联储主席表示暂不考虑加息
克利夫兰联储主席梅斯特表示：FOMC短期内不会考虑加息。我支持美联储现在就开始Taper（减码QE）。2021年，美国通胀很大程度上与新冠肺炎流行病疫情有关，通胀料将在2022年回落，美联储将继续追踪。长期通胀预期与美联储的通胀目标保持一致。当前，根本就不担心金融稳定性风险
