美元走低黄金冲高回落，煤炭系期货夜盘全部跌停
周二(10月19日)美元兑多数G-10货币下跌，强劲的企业盈利报告提振美股上扬，包括英镑在内的其他货币受到较之前预期更早升息的预期提振；纽元和澳元领涨，分别触及四个月和三个月高点。黄金期货收高，尽管全球股市上涨带来下行压力，但美元走软仍帮助黄金价格录得三个交易日来的首次上涨。全球能源供应持续吃紧，美油尾盘涨近1%，创约七年来的最高收盘价。
美联储官员倾向11月减码
美联储理事Waller表示：“我倾向于美联储11月份宣布开始减码QE；如果通胀仍然保持在高位，我将支持FOMC提前加息。并不认为美联储将在完成Taper之后迅速加息。美国的高通胀可能是暂时性的，但通胀风险仍然让人感到忧心忡忡。对于理解通胀而言，未来短短数月将是关键。美国可能已经熬过新冠肺炎德尔塔变异毒株疫情最糟糕的时期。”
在铜价大幅波动后 LME开始对铜交易进行调查
据知情人士透露，伦敦金属交易所（LME）自8月初以来已向会员发送电子邮件，要求了解更多客户交易铜权证活动的细节。邮件由LME的市场监管部门发出，询问了会员及客户进行铜仓单交易的商业原因 。此前LME铜库存降至1974年以来的最低水平。
