周一隔夜逆回購工具的使用量再創紀錄，達到1.136萬億美元，超過了8月18日觸及的前記錄1.116萬億美元。隨著大量美元繼續淹沒融資市場，市場對逆回購的需求激增。流動性暴增一定程度上是因為美聯儲繼續購買資産，以及美國財政部從現金賬戶提取資金的行為令更多儲備金被推入系統中。財政部為了給債務上限留出空間而削減美債發行量的舉動進一步加劇了流動性泛濫。
