周五黄金价格剧烈波动。在美国11月非农就业报告发布后，金价迅速下跌，随后先升后跌，并刷新日低。不过对美国新刺激措施的押注，提振了黄金作为通胀对冲工具的吸引力，并令金价仍有望录得四周来首周上涨。
周五公布的数据显示，美国11月非农就业岗位增幅为六个月来最低，强化了对政府将出台更多财政刺激措施的预期。美国一项由两党提议的9080亿美元新冠救助计划周四在国会取得进展，保守派议员表示支持，参众两院领袖也进行了磋商
纽约商品交易所2月交割的黄金期货价格下跌1.10美元，跌幅近0.1%，收于每盎司1840美元；本周黄金期货价格上涨2.9%。BMO基本与贵金属衍生品交易主管Tai Wong表示，经过连续四天的强劲反弹，金价在每盎司1850美元的关键技术水平之前出现获利回吐，该水准被视为一个重大阻力，因为它在过去两个月作为支撑的韧性非常强。黄金对明显疲弱的美国非农就业报告的反应是抛售而非上涨，暗示逢低买家可能暂时感到满足。他补充称，交易所交易基金(ETF)可能会出现一些温和但稳定的“程式抛售”。
在疫苗方面的利好消息宣布后，黄金受到冷落。但随着美国国会两党恢复抗疫纾困激性措施谈判，人们又张开双臂欢迎黄金回来。
