美聯儲擊破黃金多頭，金價跌至低點

9月17日，現貨黃金跌至近幾日額最低點，由於市場期待美聯儲出臺更多經濟刺激措施，但是美聯儲目前沒有更多的動作，對此市場感到有點迷惑和擔憂，紛紛出售黃金。
美聯儲承諾將維持近零利率水準，直到通脹“在一段時間內”“適度超過”2%的通脹目標。不過，美聯儲也表示，預計經濟復蘇速度將快於此前的預期，失業率下降速度也快於6月份的預期。美聯儲主席鮑威爾表示，資產購買計畫當前的規模適當。就目前情況來看，短期內美聯儲不太可能出臺更多刺激的刺激措施。
儘管從長期角度來看美聯儲維持低利率的前景令金價看漲，但一些專家認為，美聯儲並沒有提供新的政策措施、沒有展現出更加鴿派的立場，使一些短線看漲的投資者情緒受挫並因此拋售黃金。分析師表示：“在美聯儲會議召開之前，黃金價格攀升。但會議結果很清楚，美聯儲沒有拿出火箭炮來，黃金多頭隨即減倉。”
此外，歐洲的疫情出現反彈，法國公佈了自5月份結束封鎖以來最多的單日新冠病毒感染病例，根據公共衛生機構的數據，週四法國新冠病毒感染病例增加了10593例，是六天之內第二次新感染病例突破10000例。七日滾動平均值升至8791，達到自疫情爆發以來的最高水準。目前來看，歐洲疫情形勢比美國更加嚴峻，很可能支撐美元兌歐元匯率走強，從而推升美元指數。
道明證券大宗商品策略主管Bart Melek表示:“儘管美聯儲相當鴿派，但對黃金市場而言，似乎還不夠鴿派。人們擔心，如果沒有更多的量化寬鬆政策，黃金的動能可能會減弱。”
