分析師表示：“舒默的話暗示我們將迎來一攬子刺激計畫，一些救濟專案不會突然終止。這有助於股市和黃金市場。這意味著美國財政部將借貸數萬億美元，有一天將不得不償還。”
金價被視為處於買入良機，考慮到新冠肺炎病例數持續高企、美國國會對額外經濟援助計畫的持續緊張情緒、實際負收益率越來越普遍以及股市估值過高，這並不令人感到意外。
